Bridging the gap between seasons comes with its own challenges, especially when it comes to getting dressed. No one knows this better than experts at The Zoe Report, the word on all things fashion and beauty. To help you prep for spring, Rachel Zoe — a designer and stylist, as well as the editor in chief of the Report — worked with friend and comedy writer Erin Foster to pull together a series of looks that go from daytime errands to a night on the town.
Here are a few ways to get your style ready for spring and take on whatever the day throws at you.
For the first look, Rachel dressed Erin in a retro-inspired Graphic Gym Crew Sweatshirt and a pair of milky pink Wedgie Fit Skinny Jeans. Finished with tonal sneakers and a Baggy Ex-Boyfriend Trucker Jacket, this look is all about ease, whether you wear it to grab a morning coffee or to run errands.
The office dress code is ever-changing. To set the bar for leading a meeting or heading out for lunch with clients, Rachel suggests introducing prints into the mix. She pairs a printed midi skirt and embellished flat slides with a Perfect Pocket Tee and a Trucker Jacket. The result: playful, professional and totally Levi’s®
No wardrobe is complete without a few laid-back pieces to mix and match during the weekend. Playing off Erin’s fun-loving personality, Rachel turned to pastels with a coordinating hoodie and 721 High-Rise Ankle Skinny Jeans. To balance out the yellow, she added a white Altered Trucker Jacket that’s a little rough around the edges. Casual weekend vibes, achieved.
Next, Rachel set Erin up with an eye-catching look that can go to date night and beyond. This look is grounded in authentic Levi’s® style with dark, vintage inspired Wedgie Fit Straight Jeans and a Perfect Graphic Tee. To step it up, Rachel paired a sequin jacket (from her collection) with leopard-print pumps for extra attitude.
