Levi's® and designer 194 team up for a second collection, building on the garment dye story that defined their 2022 debut and pushing it into bolder, more unexpected territory. Drawing from color experimentation and the creative energy of local communities, the collection reimagines several classic Levi's® pieces.
194 built its reputation on menswear and womenswear from the mid-'80s through the late 2000s, a curatorial sensibility that aligns naturally with the Levi's® brand's own heritage. The partnership brings together 194's deep eye for product with Levi's® legacy of craft, grounded in a shared commitment to pieces that get better the more you wear them.
The collection's standout plaid pieces include grey and pink Type II Trucker jackets paired with a matching pant in a plaid printed pattern. The Type II silhouette features double chest pockets and a structured frame that give the boldness of the plaid something to work against. Styled as a full suit or broken up, the pieces hold their own either way.
Continuing the garment dye story from their first release, the collaboration uses the same denim base as a canvas for three pop-color dyes: orange, purple and brown. The results were unexpected—colors that seemed risky on paper became the strongest pieces once the dye hit the fabric.
Every pant is built on the Levi's® 578™ Baggy fit, a 194 favorite for its oversized fit and baggy appeal. The result is a unisex and true-to-size fit, with a co-branded back patch in varying colorways connecting each piece to the partnership.
The second Levi's® x 194 collection extends the collaboration's commitment to color, craft and community. The collection takes garment-dyed denim and throwback sensibility somewhere new while keeping the attitude easy and unstudied.
