Self-expression is the pillar of both music and fashion, and 10-time Grammy award-winner and actor Justin Timberlake has an unparalleled approach to both. We collaborated with Justin on a new collection centered around his authentic, original style.

The entire design process was truly a collaborative effort. “We immediately connected with Justin on creating pieces that blended the familiar with the unexpected,” explains Karyn Hillman, Chief Product Officer for Levi Strauss & Co. Our end goal was to design iconic pieces that can be passed down from generation to generation.

“Inspired by the stories behind Justin’s music, we used classic materials — canvas, plaids, camo, flannels, sherpa and denim — and put them onto familiar silhouettes and Levi’s® icons, remixing them with streetwear elements and hits of modernity,” says Karyn.

We took heritage classics and made them modern through innovative combinations and finishes like custom laser printing. Key pieces in the collection include Sherpa Trucker Jackets and the Oversized Hooded Worker Shirt. Through this collaboration, we also introduce our newest denim fit: the 501® Slim Taper, inspired by the way Justin wears his own 501® Jeans.

“Clothes are as important to a musician’s creative process and performance as the music itself,” Justin says. “This Levi’s® collection is my attempt to share some of my experiences with fans.”
