Over the course of its meteoric rise from a small shop in the Harajuku district to one of Japan’s most influential brands, BEAMS has gained a devoted following for its high-profile collaborations.
We combined our shared love for American workwear and innovative originality to create a collection rooted in denim. Each piece in this capsule straddles the line between two brands, two styles and two eras.
THE TRUCKER
The lower chest pocket, silver buckle cincher and pleats of the 1936 Type I Trucker Jacket and the slanted stitching, side adjuster and copper shank buttons of the archetypal Type III, together in a one-of-a-kind statement piece.
THE T-SHIRT
This shirt pays homage to the two brands with a collage of the Two Horse design that completes every pair of Levi’s® jeans, our signature Batwing logo and the distinctly minimalist BEAMS logo. Like the rest of the collection, it’s split right down the middle with BEAMS orange on one half and Levi’s® red on the other.
