How To Pack For Warm-Weather Travel

November 28, 2018

The holidays mean a lot of things to a lot of people. For some, it means taking a break from the traditional festivities and cold weather for a warmer climate. If you’re lucky enough to squeeze in some heat this holiday season, here are our top three tips for warm-weather winter packing.

Winter getaways are all about adopting a carefree attitude and your wardrobe should feel just as easy. Create a checklist so you don’t forget the basics — jeans, shorts, tees, sandals, a lightweight jacket (just in case) and of course underwear, socks, sunglasses and toiletries.

Our next packing tip contradicts a lot of what you may have read before: Don’t pack in outfits. Pack your most versatile pieces that can be easily reworn and restyled. Some of our most adaptable staples are tapered jeans for him and denim skirts for her. Pieces that don’t show stains are a definite bonus.

What you pack in is equally important as what you put in it. Pick a bag with organizational pockets and ideally enough room to bring home whatever awesome treasures you find along your way. And don’t forget to bring a carryall for day-to-day adventuring. Our L Series Cross-Body Bag does the trick.
