Every May, we celebrate the anniversary of our 501® Original with a series of events all over the world. Think music, parties and lots of denim, including a limited-edition collection (see below for more deets!). This month-long global party honors a true icon and what it means to be an individual. What if we told you this epic Levi’s® 501® Jeans ’fit took inspiration from an illustration-covered 1967 Levi’s® collection? Aptly named Crazy Legs, this Summer of Love icon was ahead of its time with playful sayings, eye-catching scribbles and that timeless silhouette we can’t get enough of. To celebrate 501® Day, we dug deep into the Levi’s® Archive to bring back this legendary look, but styled for today. The limited-edition collection includes a Trucker Jacket, 501® Original Jeans and 501® ’90s Jeans imbued with groovy vibes. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of denim history.
A memory of my first 501® experience would have to be, like, going in my dad’s closet and stealing like a huge, oversized denim jacket or like a pair of his 501®s.
