With its cool, slouchy fit and versatile straight leg, styling our new Loose Straight is pretty much foolproof. And, better yet—it doesn’t require going out and getting a whole new wardrobe.

To prove our point, we invited NYC fashion editor and stylist Michelle Li to show us how she’s wearing our new Loose Straight jeans using a mix of new styles and favorite pieces she already had in her closet.

THE BODEGA RUN LOOK

“I did an easy trench coat look with a crewneck sweater wrapped around the shoulders for a casual, running-out-to-grab-some-groceries look. I love the way a jean and trench look together and adding a sweater or scarf haphazardly thrown around the shoulders or neck dresses it down and makes it more fun.”

THE KARAOKE-IN-K-TOWN LOOK

“Give your jeans a new personality by pairing it with a bright color and add accessories, whether it be a sparkly rhinestone belt or tying a scarf to one of the belt loops. Denim is an open canvas to really go wild, experiment and step outside of your comfort zone. You will definitely see me singing “Champagne Supernova” in this in 2022, at a karaoke bar in K-Town.”

THE HANGING-OUT-AT-THE-PARK LOOK

“This look is for a casual Sunday spent hanging out in the park playing Bananagrams. I tied a scarf around the belt loop because I love having things flying in the wind while I walk in NYC. When you’re first trying out a new style or trend, identify your ultimate ride-or-die style comfort zone pieces. For me, that’s head-to-toe denim and oversized sweaters. Style those pieces with these jeans and then add a little something with the accessories to show that you’re really leaning into it. It’s all about finding that balance between trying something new and staying comfortable—especially when it comes to jeans.”

So in the words of the sage and stylish Michelle Li: Go wild, experiment and step outside of your comfort zone!
