kleding met een verhaal. In de loop der jaren heeft ze oog gekregen voor bijzondere items: oud, uniek en obscuur. Nu heeft ze een van de coolste garderobes. Dit is, in haar eigen woorden, wat ze draagt.*  Ik hou niet van snelle fashion. Ik ben gek op kleding die terug gaat in de tijd. Kleding die prachtig verouderd wordt beter met de tijd. Denim doet dit allebei. Deze [jeans](https://www.levi.com/NL/nl_NL/c/levi_clothing_women_jeans) die ik hieronder draag, met de patches, is van Levi's® Vintage Clothing. Het is een 1915 501®, mijn favoriete 501®-pasvorm. Hij heeft een hele hoge taille en rechte pijpen, dus is comfortabel. En in 1915 hadden we de Red Tab nog niet. Deze jeans lijkt nep! Ik hou er dus van hun verhaal te vertellen.  Ik draag veel laagjes. Dat is leuk. Ik heb iedere dag verschillende creatieve outfitideeën. Toen ik dit beige vestje kocht, was het nooit in me opgekomen hem over het Trucker Jacket te dragen. Mensen dragen hem meestal onder de Trucker of over een T-shirt. Tot ik op een dag dacht: ‘Waarom niet?’ Ik draag de 501® regelmatig, maar ik heb veel jeans, minstens 50. Sommige draag ik, andere verzamel ik alleen. Dingen die ik verzamel zijn speciaal, ik heb ze misschien één keer gedragen. De jeans met cuff die ik hieronder draag is een 503B. Deze stijl was voor jongeren in de jaren ’60, de kinderversie van de 501®. En dit jaar heeft Levi's® Vintage Clothing deze pasvorm gereproduceerd voor vrouwen.  We hebben allemaal limited-edition items die we ieder jaar maken en de goedkoopste en makkelijkste manier om ze te kopen is in het seizoen. Als je iets één of twee seizoenen later spot en het probeert te kopen op een veilingsite of tweedehands, is het meestal duurder. Deze corduroy Trucker was geloof ik een limited-edition in 2019. Niemand wilde hem kopen tot ik hem droeg. En toen baalden mensen ervan dat ze het gemist hadden! Anderen vinden mijn collectie niet zo waardevol als ikzelf. Ik hou niet van kleding omdat het duur is, ik kies juist items die waardevol zijn voor mij.
