oude, vuile Levi's® 201 jeans. Alsof de tijd heeft stilgestaan.__ Of dat je de herinneringen aan je ‘Summer of Love’ op een indigoblauwe 501 naait die je in de tweedehandswinkel hebt gekocht. Of dat je vandaag een nieuwe bootcut jeans koopt die vintageverzamelaars over 10 jaar maar wat graag willen doorverkopen. Er zijn maar weinig dingen die gemaakt zijn om lang mee te gaan. Levi's® is zo’n product. Levi's® is ontstaan uit een samenwerking tussen twee arbeiders, onze oorspronkelijke denim kleermaker Jacob Davis en onze oprichter Levi Strauss, en staat voor hoogwaardig vakmanschap. En dat zie je terug aan elke naad en stud van je Levi's®. Maar ook aan de koperen klinknagels die ervoor zorgen dat je zakken niet uitscheuren. En het superstevige materiaal dat niet vies is van hard werken, en zelfs zachter wordt naarmate je het vaker draagt. Hadden we je ook al verteld dat alle items dubbelgestikt zijn met garen van hoge kwaliteit? __“Built to Last” is meer dan alleen maar een slogan.__ Het is een mentaliteit die de onderscheidende kwaliteit van onze materialen onderstreept. Want het is deze kwaliteit die iedere Levi's® tot een onvervalste klassieker maakt. Het is ook een knipoogje naar 1910, toen we zo zeker waren van onze superieure kwaliteit dat we voor iedere jeans die toch scheurtjes vertoonde een gratis vervangend exemplaar aanboden.  Stap samen met archiefbeheerder Tracey Panek in onze blauwe, brandbestendige kluis. Zij legt kort uit hoe Levi's® denim de tand des tijds weet te doorstaan en al generaties lang een absolute trendsetter is. Of het nu gaat om de ontdekking van een 100 jaar oude jeans in een mijnschacht in de buurt van Dawson City. Of het verhaal van een geliefde patchworkbroek uit de jaren 60 die voor een kunstenaar en illustrator de ‘Summer of Love’ symboliseert.
