samenwerkingen__](https://www.levi.com/NL/nl_NL/blog/category/campaigns-and-collaborations) /  augustus 2021 Share  Het jaar van de pandemie bracht ons om vragen te stellen, nieuwe gronden te testen en onze creatieve processen opnieuw op te bouwen. En aangezien er wereldwijd reisbeperkingen gelden, moesten we het idee van 'shoots op locatie' heroverwegen en een beetje creatief worden. Dus in plaats van de gebruikelijke fotoshoots die we in het verleden hebben gedaan, hebben we ons tot vijf fotografen uit steden over de hele wereld gewend om ons te helpen de avontuurlijke geest van onze nieuwe collectie vast te leggen. Nadat de shoot voorbij was, vroegen we hen iets te vertellen over hun artistieke benadering, waar ze inspiratie opdoen en hoe ze zich hebben aangepast aan een nieuwe manier van leven in hun stad. #### GEFOTOGRAFEERD DOOR DOUG SEAGARS ### NEW YORK CITY, VS Het snelle tempo en de energie van NYC zorgen ervoor dat het voor mij als thuis voelt. En ik mis het vooral als ik een tijdje op reis ben. New York houdt me in beweging; iedereen lijkt de hele tijd haast te hebben. Ik ben vooral dol op het verkennen en documenteren van Brooklyn, vooral blokken zoals Nostrand en Fulton in Bedstuy. Deze gemeente biedt zoveel etnische diversiteit en cultuur, en je ontmoet mensen uit alle lagen van de bevolking. Oh, en had ik al gezegd dat je op elk moment van de dag geweldig eten kunt krijgen? Ik ben verwend!   ### GEFOTOGRAFEERD DOOR HOUMI SAKATA ## TOKIO, JAPAN In een vloeiende samenleving zijn is nuttig geweest om mijn creatieve bewustzijn te laten stromen. Ik ben vorig jaar om voor de hand liggende redenen niet veel buiten geweest, maar in die tijd kon ik terugkeren naar een meer essentiële spiritualiteit door te creëren met wat ik om me heen heb. Het mooie van fotografie is dat ik onder alle omstandigheden een beeld kan vastleggen, als ik maar een camera heb. #### GEFOTOGRAFEERD DOOR RICCARDO RASPA ### MILAAN, ITALIË Ik ben pas onlangs naar Milaan verhuisd, maar ik heb echt genoten van het gebied van Loreto/Nolo waar ik momenteel woon. Het heeft een dorpsgevoel, maar het voelt heel vertrouwd en gemakkelijk, vooral tijdens de lockdown. Ik hou van de mensen, de taal en vooral het eten! De beperkingen en beperkingen die we het afgelopen jaar hebben moeten doorstaan, zijn ironisch genoeg erg nuttig geweest bij de ontwikkeling van mijn creativiteit. Vaak stel ik persoonlijke beperkingen op bij het ontwikkelen van nieuwe ideeën, want soms kun je jezelf verliezen als je te veel beschikbaar hebt.   ### GEFOTOGRAFEERD DOOR FRANCESCA ALLEN ## LONDEN, VERENIGD KONINKRIJK Wat ik zo leuk vind aan deze stad is de botsing van de natuur met de stedelijke omgeving. De buurt waarin ik woon, vat dit voor mij echt samen. Het staat vol met groene ruimtes, ingeklemd tussen de chaotische straten. Ik vind het geweldig dat ik getuige kan zijn van de manier waarop mensen leven en met elkaar omgaan en die voortdurende zoektocht naar verbinding met de natuurlijke wereld kan vervullen. Als fotograaf draait het allemaal om het vastleggen van de momenten daartussenin, het vinden van schoonheid in de menselijke interacties en de oprechte intimiteit van onze gedeelde momenten. #### GEFOTOGRAFEERD DOOR KE PENG ### SHANGHAI, CHINA Wat ik zo leuk vind aan mijn buurt, is dat gemeenschappen sterk verbonden zijn. De reeks parken bij het Volksplein vind ik bijzonder. Parken in China zijn meestal omheind en laten om specifieke redenen meestal geen mensen op de graslanden toe. Maar veel van de parken in dit gebied zijn open voor het publiek, dus ik kan dutjes doen, verkennen en inspiratie opdoen als ik naar binnen kan glippen. Door tijdens de pandemie in een megastad als Shanghai te zijn, heb ik mijn creativiteit behouden stromend.
