LEVI'S® X TRAZOS AWARDS 2022
Levi's® has joined the second edition of the Trazos Awards. This is an international contest held at the Escuela Trazos school which aims to give visibility to artists within the digital industry. And we now have the winners!
The experience culminated in December 2022 with an awards ceremony where attendees also had the opportunity to watch the finalist entries in the Motion Graphics category. Keep reading and don’t miss the winning projects.
LEVI'S® 501® JEANS: A MOTION GRAPHIC TRIBUTE
We celebrate the past, present and future of 501® Jeans by joining the new edition of the Trazos Awards 2022. Levi's® renews its commitment to education and enters the world of motion graphics to pay tribute to 501®, the number that changed everything.
Participants had the opportunity to reinterpret our iconic jeans by creating Motion Graphics that featured our emblematic Levi's® 501® Jeans.

1st PLACE CLARA RUIZ MARTIN @clararuizmotion
26 years old, Madrid - Motion Designer “When we started researching the Levi's® 501® model, what inspired us the most was its remarkable history. Its durability and ability to be customized have made it a garment that has been used to create the most iconic looks. And it was this journey through history and time that we wanted to convey with our piece.”

“I was inspired by one of the most recognizable characteristics of a pair of Levi's® 501®: the label. I reinterpreted it in different versions since it is the perfect starting point for creativity. Imagination is the limit!”

“I took my inspiration from the history of the iconic Levi's® 501® model that established the guidelines for how to make a durable, high-quality product. I wanted to represent this trajectory through the history of this model of jeans in a very simple and synthetic way so that the essence of Levi's® 501® can be appreciated in such a short time frame.”
