På denne National Coming Out Day har Unlabeled inviteret otte LGBT+-ikoner fra hele Europa til at fortælle deres udspringshistorie, og hvorfor allierede er så vigtige for LGBT+-samfundet. Allierede er for LGBT+-folk, hvad stolthed er for kærlighed. Når vi samles, danner vi et frygtløst bånd, der skubber grænser og opfordrer os til at kæmpe for inklusivitet både nu og i fremtiden; selvstændiggøre de kommende generationer. In a world where people and institutions try to make us silent, we need to raise our voices and keep standing together to grow a louder and stronger community. I dag, i anledning af fejringen af National Coming Out Day, deler disse otte talenter deres historier om accept, støtte og kærlighed. At være en allieret handler om at omfavne nogens autenticitet og historie og samtidig udvise respekt for den. I vores rejse mod selvaccept, har allierede en fundamental rolle at spille. De skal være støttende, når tiderne bliver hårde, og være uddannet nok til at stå op for os, når vi ikke må bruge vores stemme. Det er også rigtig vigtigt at indse, at i vores kamp for rettigheder og ligestilling er vi alle allierede. Den uendelige kamp må få os til at stå sammen og skabe broer, der krydser alle vores samfund. Men vigtigst af alt, er kærlighed at lære. Det er vores pligt at sprede dette budskab til mennesker omkring os og bredere endnu, for at lære er også at forstå. Derfor er det vores ansvar at uddanne vores allierede om vores historie og kampe, så de har værktøjerne til at forsvare os, handle og forstærke vores stemmer rundt om i verden. Først da kan vi skabe en bevægelse for kærlighed og ligestilling og inspirere mennesker til at handle.
