samenwerkingen__](https://www.levi.com/BE/nl_BE/blog/category/campaigns-and-collaborations) /  maart 2025 Share  __Levi's® en Denim Tears zijn terug voor een vierde seizoen, waarmee ze opnieuw een ode brengen aan de geschiedenis en tradities van zwarte Amerikanen. De foto’s en video’s zijn in New Orleans gemaakt met leden van de Young Seminole Hunters. De nieuwste collectie is een authentieke weerspiegeling van de diepe culturele verbondenheid tussen deze kledingstukken en de gemeenschap waar zij een ode aan brengen.__ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Voor het vierde seizoen van Levi's® x Denim Tears presenteren we acht nieuwe kledingstukken die een ode brengen aan de rijke culturele verwevenheid van New Orleans en de tradities van de Black Masking Indians. Deze collectie brengt een eerbetoon aan het artistieke talent, de veerkracht en verbondenheid van de Young Seminole Hunters en hun gerespecteerde Big Chief Demond Melancon. Het is een combinatie van traditionele invloeden en moderne streetwear in doordachte designs.  De Photo Trucker en Photo Jeans zijn ontworpen met prints van foto’s waarop de Young Seminole Hunters in vol ornaat te bewonderen zijn. Ze zullen het levendige vakmanschap en de culturele betekenis van deze traditie tot in de eeuwigheid uitdragen. De printtechniek is doelbewust aangepast om zo de minder mooie kanten naar voren te laten komen, zodat er geen twee kledingstukken zijn die precies op elkaar lijken. Net als de met de hand gemaakte kostuums van de Mardi Gras Indians zelf. Het Photo Trucker Jacket heeft een relaxed en iets korter model, gebaseerd op het iconische Type III-ontwerp. Voor de bijpassende Photo Jeans hebben we de pasvorm afgekeken van de 568 Stay Loose.  We hebben ook het trainingspak een New Orleans-sausje gegeven. Het Track Jack en de Track Broek zijn ontworpen in een mid-indigo wassing met contrasterende vlakken in een donkere wassing, voor een colorblock-effect. De print met katoenbollen en fleur-de-lis-versieringen verwijst naar de Franse roots van de stad. De goudkleurige, touwachtige biezen doen denken aan de sierlijke details van fanfare-uniformen, die ook een belangrijke rol spelen in de cultuur van New Orleans.  Het Sweatshirt met ronde hals duikt nog dieper in het collectiethema met hetzelfde artwork van katoenbollen en fleur-de-lis dat afsteekt tegen een vaalzwarte ondergrond. Dan is er nog het Baseball T-shirt, met donkergroene driekwartmouwen en een combinatie van bloemenprints en geblokte patronen, wat doet denken aan de tafelkleden die in de zuidelijke staten populair zijn. Een design dat symbool staat voor familiebijeenkomsten en samenzijn. Twee accessoires ronden de collectie af: een mid-indigo durag met prints van katoenbollen en bloemen en een hoed met dezelfde fotoprint die deze collectie zijn bewust imperfecte karakter geeft. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ De collectie wordt wereldwijd op 4 april 2025 gelanceerd en zal te koop zijn op Levi.com, in de Levi's® app, in geselecteerde winkels van Levi's® over de hele wereld en op Denimtears.com.
