STYLE OUR NEW BAGGY FITS IN A BIG WAY (LITERALLY) ### [__Stijl__](https://www.levi.com/BE/nl_BE/blog/category/styled-by-levis) /  juli 2022 Share  Dit seizoen gaan we iets radicaals voorstellen: koop bijna alles te groot. Of liever twee keer zo groot. In de zin van: twee maten groter dan je normale maat. Slim, niet dan? Als je je ware maat bestelt in onze Baggy Bootcut, XL Flood of Baggy Dad-Jeans, krijg je een leuke, iets oversized situatie. Onthoud dat ze lager en losser gedragen moeten worden dan je misschien gewend bent. Niet op je bed gaan liggen om de rits dicht te doen of op en neer springen om deze schatjes omhoog te krijgen. Maar we vragen je te overwegen om groot-groot te gaan. Nogmaals, "twee groot", als je wilt. (Laat ons even deze grap maken.) Zal je eruitzien als een verfomfaaide warme puinhoop? Nee, dat zal je niet. Want na de volgende drie en een halve minuut lezen weet je hoe je de kracht van verhoudingen kunt aanwenden om de XL met de XS te mengen tot een totaal effect dat XA en XF (extra ontzagwekkend, extra flatterend) is. Het is leuk. Het is comfortabel. Het is - hoe zeggen we het - sexy?  ## "Maar er is iets met deze lossere pasvormen - iets mysterieus, attitude, drama - dat ze erg aantrekkelijk maakt." \- Jill Guenza, Vice President of Women’s Design. "Ik bedoel, als je een jeans met zelfvertrouwen draagt, zie je er supergoed uit," zegt Vice President of Women's Design Jill Guenza. "Maar er is iets met deze lossere pasvormen - iets mysterieus, attitude, drama - dat ze erg aantrekkelijk maakt." Dus tweemaal de losheid moet tweemaal de aantrekkingskracht betekenen, niet? Kijk zelf maar. Hieronder vier looks met tips over hoe je je maat kunt vergroten om je stijl te verhogen.  ## 1) GAAN TOT HET UITERSTE. DE BAGGY BOOTCUT Het is nog steeds mogelijk om er lang en slank uit te zien in oversized pasvormen. De truc is om de lengtes goed te kiezen. Denk voor je topje aan tailleband-grijpend of hoger. Langer waagt zich op slonzig terrein. Deze polo heeft een ruimer model-met horizontale strepen zelfs! Maar omdat hij bijgesneden is en afgezet tegen de verticale lijnen van een op maat gemaakte trench, werkt hij. Laten we het nu over schoenen hebben: "Bootcut" betekent niet dat je een laars moet dragen. We houden van de verrassende wending van dikke atletische sneakers om je tred wat "prep" te geven. Bovendien brengt dat extra gewicht de volheid van de benen in evenwicht (die overdrevener is dan bij onze andere bootcuts, en vooral wanneer de maat groter is). Je wilt een schoen die tegen die pijpopening bestand is. - [SHOP DE LOOK](https://www.levi.com/BE/nl_BE/c/levi_women_collections_denim_icons)  ## 2) LAAT JE BEREIK ZIEN MET DE XL FLOOD De XL Flood is de grootste, laagste ("XL" staat voor "extra laag"), baggiest broek van ons baggy stel. Hoe leuk is het dus om ze te combineren met een super getailleerd nummer erboven. (Opmerking: we namen een schaar en sneden deze crop top verder bij - je vriendelijke herinnering dat kleding van jou is om je eigen te maken). Een supergroot Western Shirt (ook twee grote) vormt een perfect tegenwicht voor de piepkleine crop en speelt mooi in op het makkelijke, ton-sur-ton palet dat door de jeans en de accessoires ontstaat. De wassingen van spijkerstof hoeven niet precies bij elkaar te passen als je een dergelijk spectrum draagt. Het eindresultaat geeft '90s R&B groep echtheid. En dat kiekeboe-moment met boxerslip? Verfijnde elegantie is op zijn plaats, zelfs in deze grote pasvormen. Je krijgt het voor elkaar met donkergewassen denim, een knapperig overhemd met knoopsluiting en een paar strakke loafers. Elk van deze kledingstukken voelt duidelijk verzorgd aan, en de harde lijnen die de loafers met vierkante teen en de scherpe contrasterende kleuren creëren zijn \*de zoen van de chef-kok\*. Maak het ensemble nonchalant met een cropped hoodie die ons bovenvermelde advies opvolgt om je een taille te geven. Pro tip: Je wilt dat toeschouwers zich kunnen voorstellen waar je navel zit. Als body-con of blote huid niet je ding is, is dit een alternatieve frisse en moderne manier om een flatterend silhouet te creëren. - [SHOP DE LOOK](https://www.levi.com/BE/nl_BE/c/levi_women_collections_denim_icons)  ## 4) ONTHOUD DAT DE ENIGE REGEL IS DAT ER GEEN REGELS ZIJN MET DE XL FLOOD Het hemd hier is eigenlijk ons XS Trucker Jasje, gedragen in ware grootte. De twee maten te grote Sherpa Trucker erbovenop is niet bedoeld om omkeerbaar te zijn, maar waarom niet? De XL Floods plassen echt, dus we besloten dat regenlaarzen soms gewoon te leuk zijn om te reserveren voor guur weer. Onconventioneel zijn met kledingstukken geeft ze een speelse veelzijdigheid. We geven je de hele dag stijltips, maar het doel is om altijd te inspireren - en nooit inbreuk te maken op je eigen creativiteit en zelfexpressie. Mode is misschien wel het enige spel waarin wie zich niet aan de regels houdt het meest verdient te winnen. Dus "doe jij jij". En vergeet je beperkingen.
